How to Get an Accurate Reading

Wash and dry your hands — sugar or food on the fingertip raises the result.
Insert a new strip; the meter switches on by itself.
Prick the side of the fingertip and touch the drop to the strip.
Read the result and note whether it was before or after a meal.

Keep strips in their closed tube, away from heat and sunlight, and do not use them after the expiry date.
